Our Owner

Sandi Weaver, CPA, CFP®, CFA® is a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant, and has worked in the industry since 1987. Sandi has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, which is the benchmark of professionals in the investment field. CFAs master complex studies in portfolio management, quantitative analysis, businesses, stocks, bonds, and economics. The CFA® is often the required designation for managers of mutual funds, research analysts on Wall Street, and institutional money managers.

Sandi's professional affiliations include:

  • Membership in the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, a select group of fee-only advisors. This association grants membership only after approving the work of professionals demonstrating expertise in comprehensive financial planning.
  • The Financial Planning Association, Kansas City chapter.
  • She is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs, and has served as State Chairman of Personal Financial Planning for the Society, as well as chairman of Personal Financial Planning for the Kansas City Chapter. She has also served as President of the 1,800-member Kansas City Chapter.
  • Sandi belongs to the Association for Investment Management and Research, and previously worked with an investment management firm serving high net worth individuals.

Community Service 

Outside of work, Sandi spends some of her spare time serving in the community. Her activities have included serving on Harvesters' Investment Committee, which manages funds for Harvesters - a unique, vibrant charity in Kansas City, Missouri which organizes programs to feed the poor. She has also coached Special Olympics basketball. Sandi is active in her church and is a former member of the Kansas Women's Business Center Roundtable.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame logo) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
