Our Services and the Financial Planning Process

We provide comprehensive financial planning. What does that mean? The Financial Planning Process consists of the following six steps:

Establishing the client-planner relationship. This includes explaining and documenting the services we provide and the responsibilities of the client and our firm.

Gathering client data, including goals. We discuss your personal and financial goals and the time frame for results. We also discuss your risk tolerance.

Analyzing and evaluating the client's financial status. This includes looking at your current financial picture, including insurance, investments, and tax situation.

Developing financial planning recommendations. Based on your financial goals and current situation, we develop recommendations and review them with you. We revise these recommendations as appropriate.

Implementing the financial planning recommendations.

Monitoring the financial planning recommendations. We meet with you personally each year to review progress on your goals and adjust as needed.

In 2007, we stopped offering hourly consultations, and analyses charged by the hour.
